Treetops Tavern Burleigh Karaoke Fun!!!

Hi karaoke fans! Dianne from findakaraoke.com here. I had the pleasure of joining Kapai Karaoke host Paul T as he rocked the Treetops Tavern - Burleigh from 6pm till 10pm Saturday night just gone (Oct 4 2015). Thrilled to advise — although a fairly quiet crowd, considering it was a Saturday the place certainly had a fabulous friendly party like vibe with a few regular singers (including me) definitely enjoying the karaoke spotlight!

Paul of course is a highly experienced karaoke host with a friendly, professional attitude and always has a fab welcoming smile for singers and guests alike. The sound is great with a wide selection of traditional as well as more recent songs guaranteed to solicit plenty of singing, dancing and general karaoke fun.

Great value - tasty meals available as well as the lovely friendly bar staff member Lisa serving drinks at the main bar. I saw her enjoying the music and tapping away! Don’t forget that Troy is available to whisk you home via the Treetop’s own courtesy bus should you need a lift! Bonus!

Karaoke singers on the night included Jacqui Watson celebrating her birthday with a group of fab friends in tremendous karaoke style. What an awesome voice and entertainer!!! Especially L.O.V.E.D. the black hat and dress! Way to go Jacqui!!! She began the evening off with a splendid rendition of Peggy Lee's 'Fever' and went on to entertain the crowd with 'Mustang Sally' and 'Born on the Bayou' as well as several other songs. Definitely great to see someone sing with raw and passionate energy!

Regular karaoke singer Willie also sang a few numbers including ‘Cherry Bomb’ the 1976 punk-influenced hard rock single by The Runaways. Super cool Willie — We loved it!!

A most welcome face on the night was that of Michael who entertained us with his marvellous commanding voice singing several power songs including ‘I Who have Nothing’ and ‘Turn the Page’. What a voice!!! Following up with one of my all-time favourites from 1969: ‘Spinning Wheel' by Blood Sweat & Tears.

Last but certainly not least; karaoke host Paul entertained everyone with his supple vocals, soulful tones and relaxed charisma. All in all — an absolute great night of karaoke fun, plenty of talented singers and much more. Be sure to get down there next Saturday night and check it out for yourself.

Cheers:
Dianne :)

Special thanks to Treetops Tavern - Burleigh & 'Kapai Karaoke' Paul T
