Inn Forty Seven is that little slice of karaoke heaven in central Surfers Paradise—  conveniently located on Chevron Island; it's just far away enough from all of the hustle and bustle! Inn 47 is definitely well worth a visit on any Sunday evening from about 6.30pm till 9.30pm(ish)! This intimate pub seriously showcases some amazing talent every single week! Check it out! Karaoke Host Karin Driessen

Not only does Karin Driessen (Red Hot Entertainment) run an awesome professional karaoke gig but she’s also a fabulous pro-singer, friendly and absolutely gorgeous; inside and out! L.O.V.E. love love— this gig! To be totally honest, it’s one of my absolute favourites!

Firstly, the sound at this venue is always of the highest quality with plenty of song selections to suit every taste in music from classic ballads to the very latest pop songs— and everything imaginable in between!

Karin’s gig at Inn Forty Seven attracts both young and older singers; offering an eclectic cool vibe that often gets quite funked up with the vast open dance space getting a good thrashing every single week. And of course this lot are generally a rather well-behaved cohort, making for an exceptionally enjoyable night out. Great Music! Great Sound! And a Great host!

Friendly bar staff, reasonably priced liquids menu (alcohol) and the MEALS are not only great value; (eg: a $10 steak / chicken snitzel, chips & salad) but absolutely delicious— I personally eat here quite regularly!

Tonight’s showcase of talented singers included Inn Forty Seven Karaoke regular lovely couple Tom & Sue— entertaining the crowd with their splendid harmonic duos. Stu performed his own fabulous rendition of Joe Cocker’s ‘Unchain My Heart’— always a winner with this crowd! And of course the lovely Karin joined singers in a few duos and magnificently sang the very sultry ‘Luka’. L.O.V.E. your work Karin!

The legends of the evening though were two young rising singing stars— Steph (C.J.Rayne) & Enya! These girls are nothing short of Utterly Amazing! Do keep an eye out as undoubtedly these two will definitely be going places!!!

Splendid voices— entertaining the crowd with several totally ‘funked up’ tunes including ‘Watch Me’ and some seriously mega-unflappable dance moves— Woo! Hoo! L.O.V.E. you gals! You are truly awesome!
